toner powder covered my earphone

When refilling for my samsung ml2510 laser printer, lots of black powder were accidentally dropped down on the desk. My earphone partly was covered by those black powder. I washed them but still worried if toner powder is harmful to the body? What would be a proper way to clean earphones thoroughly? I bought those toner from ebay for $5
