Apparently TomTom has been caught selling user data to the Danish police force. The data has been anonymized so no person is being outed as speeding. The data will be used for the implementing of speed traps.
I always preferred Garmin but had no problem using a TomTom if it was cheaper. Guess who will never get my business now.
