TomTom One 3rd edition

I have a TomTOm one 3rd edition and if I fully charge it and then not sue it for a few days, the unit will not turn on unless i connect it to a power source.

Is this normal? Does yours do this? Does the charge drain out while not in use?

same with mine. i leave mine in the car so i dont know if the heat fucks up the charge or not.

I found an unofficial TomTom forum and soemone else asked this question and almost everyone that replied said this is how it works. One guy did say something about letting it charge for 2 hours then press the reset button and it should last for like a month. I tried it so I guess I'll wait and see what happens.

it seems to have lasted longer than before but I don't have any conclusive proof. I used it on Saturday and it still had a good portion of the charge left. I charged it overnight lats night so I'll have to check on it again in a few days.

The previous charge lasted for at least 6 days which I don't think it was even getting that previously.

These models have poor battery life. And poor charge retention...
