TomTom GO700 GPS $100 Rebate

Found the rebate. What does this mean:
Offer is NOT valid at retailers offering instant givegive savings, including, but not limited to: 6th Ave Electronics, Amazon.com, Best Buy, Car Toys, Circuit City, Crutchfield, Electronics Expo, Frys, Gander Mountain, GI Joes, GPS Store, Harmony Computers, J&R, Office Depot, Office Max, PC Richards, Pep Boys, Radio Shack, Sharper Image, Target, and Wal-Mart.
 
I'm still trying to score the $199 Mio at Staples this week. They keep saying they expect them on the truck. They can be hacked to run TomTom software.
 
I'm not too sure how this rebate deal works either. Some companies have marked the TomTom GPS's down by $100. If you get a company that is not on the list to price match, will you be able to get the rebate too? Yeah, I know, it's double dipping, but how will the rebate company be able to tell or track that? I've seen internet vendors advertiseing the double dipped price already....
 
This deal is still good through the 6th of Jan for you after christmas shoppers - plus its good on all of their gps units, not just the 700 like the ONE that I've been using. Plus I read that the newer 510 and 910 have a brand new tele atlas map update thats free up until the end of march.
