Hey, Toms Hardware Guide has a downloadable video for showing how to unlock the Athlon XP.

You need the latest DivX codes, which are pretty good also.

make sure you tape the contacts so no glue gets on them..........use crazy glue to fill in the pits...........then let it dry........carefully scrape excess glue off

remove tape............carefully use defogger paint to unlock the chip

Instead of using conductive silver, you can use silver grease or silver epoxy.

Instead of Super Glue, you can use clear finger nail polish (clear) to fill in the gaps.

You can use a razor blade instead of a knife like the one Tom's uses.

A magnifying glass would help.

Can use finger nail polish remover as a cleaning agent.

As you see, those of us with girlfriends have an advantage over the lonely types.

Don't try to do this while drunk; this is not a Miller moment.

Just follow these universal basics of electronics on the Athlon XP bridges and you should be all right:

1. Shield the contacts inside the bridges from conduction.
2. Short each individual bridge.

Bingo bango!
