Just wondering if anyone knows what the hell Tomshardware does that causes my computer to lock up? I have a Celeron 366 running at 550mhz on an Abit BE6. I'm running Win98SE with 384mb of RAM.

My PC runs fine doing work, web browsing and playing games. But EVERY time I go to Tomshardware site or even to a link to one of his reviews, my PC locks up needing a hard reboot to get going again. I can't duplicate this at any other site. Oh, the browser is IE 5.5, but I think this was going on even before I updated to 5.5.

Anyone else have this problem?

I believe it is a German plot...heheh...actually, first I'd try the IE Repair Tool and see if that helps...go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, and click on Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5. You'll get a box asking if you want to remove a component or repair IE. Try the repair feature. Then, try Tom's again.
