I think Tom actually sold the site off a few years ago. I only go there occasionally, I prefer Anandtech's reviews and the forums here are my home 🙂
 
I'll check any site with decent reviews for comparison shopping.
The only tech and hardware site forums I visit is AnandTech, though.
 
i remember them having severe favoritism way back. sometimes i use their vga charts but last time i checked, they weren't very up to date

yeap. you could tell who was paying him a little extra. he would have reviews of hardware that was not in line with every other review and have that manufactures banner at the top.

then a few months latter the banner would change and so would the reviews.


i stoped going to the site since there was no point in reading reviews that were so full of shit.
 
What also irks me is when they downplay a product's weakness(es) in a review. Not that they're alone. I've noticed this trait in boating and other product review magazines.
 
P&N actually stands for Porn & Nudes, not Politics and News.

If you don't have the password all you see in P&N is fan boys bitching. 😉
