So you're the guy he was hanging with while wearing silk PJ's, smoking french cigarettes, and making veiled sexual innuendos;)

His BS comments after 9-11 did it for me, he's an a$$, I won't visit his site anymore because of it.

Not a big fan of tom's myself. I never did read that site very often and the reports seemed to be even more biased than most sites. Just my opinion though.

I was a frequent visitor to Toms from the start until a year or so ago. He started to get really biased and his ego was out of control.

i cant remember what the exact reason i stopped going there. it was some huge story where he was upset because he was "dissed" and started writing crappy reviews of certain products while everyone else had good reviews for the same products. not to mention his advertisements were for the ones he gave good reviews to.

anyway between anand and hardocp i get the stories i like to read. When i upgrade and i do research i do look at many other sites. oddly haven't been to toms even for that.

yeah, i remember that one - it was really whiney and lame and had the basic tone that "i'm tom and no one should question or criticize me".

No, but he called me a liar and a lunatic on his site when I busted his ass for eurocentric, anti-American statements he posted, and even worse, the crap he e-mailed to me, personally.

I had previously helped him on another issue, and he actually gave me name credit on his site. I got e-mail for weeks from people telling me he never did that and wondering how I did it.

I e-mailed him a friendly message about his later article, reminding him that I had helped him, previously and suggesting some changes in his text. Some of his replies were so vile that I got really pissed and told him that, if he didn't apologize, I would post his e-mails on the web.

He replied that he was tired and going to bed, and I could do whatever i wanted about it... so I did. :D

I later found reposts of my stuff on over 20 forums, including his own. :Q

yeah, come on, show us the dirt!
I used to be able to find some of it by searching for my name on Google, but it's not there, anymore. That's probably just as well. I still have the original e-mails, including the original complete headers in case someone really needs the evidence, but since so many others are down on his case for later stuff, there's really no point in digging up the old stuff. One would have hoped he'd have grown beyond that, by now,

Yeah, that'd be nice if he'd matured a little.

Problem is, he's still a pompous ass who needs a good ass-belting down about eight or nine ranks.
