I have one question...WHY?

I guess if you want to see how crappy a 100MHz pentium with a 9700 pro will run a QIII bench.
 
If you guys read the article, he had to use the Ti4600 for some of the lower clocked CPU's. But due to the fact that it was CPU limited with the Ti4600 and the R9700, the scores do not differ much.

He explains everything in there.
 
Very interesting. It makes you wanna laugh at the old stuff but it's all relative: we'll all be laughing in 10 years about today's CPUs and GPUs.🙂
