So I'm moving out of the furnished apartment I've been living in for the last 6 months. Normally, I'd say, furnished apartment -- no furniture, kitchen supplies, etc..that'd be an easy move! Problem is: I twisted my ankle playing basketball on Sunday morning. I'm on crutches. I had been lying on the couch all week, working from home..I just went out tonight to see a performer, and the minimal walking/standing around on crutches..my ankle is definitely agitated, in as much pain as it was on Sunday.

I'm far from family, so I've been leaning on the friends I've made in the last 6 months to help tomorrow. So far I have two commitments, one maybe (he is claiming BPPH. At least its only clothes and a few boxes..

If trouble peeing makes it impossible to move someone, he's got a strange definition of the word "move".

??

I dont need any 2x4s

he's talking about the mexicans who hang out at home depot waiting for people to pick them up to do odd jobs.

i'd recommend that only if you've packed most the breakables yourself, and have a passing understanding of spanish.

my home depot never had them, but apparently they're fairly common. here, they all gather at a street corner a couple miles from here.

I broke my wrist and had to move 4 days later. I had to call in a lot of favors to friends to come help move my furniture.

I'm pretty sure this is just a callout thread since I told the OP that I'm busy with work and his other friends live much closer than I do.

I see what you're doing, Eric. 😉
