This game is GOOD! The graphics are EXCELLENT, gameplay is fun, Lara Croft's new voice-acting is DAMN hot, good story-line...

I dare-say this game may save the entire bloody lineup.

Supposed to be better than the last few, so any fans of the series should like it.

I've been playing it on 360 and I'm enjoying it very much. I got the demo off the Xbox Live Marketplace and was sold on it instantly. Picked up the game once it hit retail and have been playing through it since. :)

I've played through the first level and the beginning of the second, and I really like it so far. Unfortunately, it's really almost too slow to run on my 6800GT (at Ultra speeds) unless I turn off just about all the graphical options. It looks so much better though with Next Gen Content, that I'm thinking of just setting aside the game for several months until I can afford to upgrade my video card (to an X1900XT or something similar) and really run the game well...

I may have to pick it up or rent it for the 360. My almost 4-year old son wants to play the demo all the time. I'm tired of running through the same damn level. LOL

Huh. Demo ran silky smooth and looked great on my AGP 6800GS, and I want to say I had all the graphics options up except next-gen (not an option with demo). Anyhow, not a fan of the genre or series, just never picked up on them. However, the demo was genuinely well done, so might be picking this game up.

Yeah, the demo ran pretty well for me too (even at 1680x1050). It's quite a different story with the Next Gen Content in the full version though :p

I was impressed enough with the "Next Gen" graphics that I think it would be worth it to wait until I can really experience them at more than <10fps (at times). While I could turn down everything (or just switch off Next Gen Content) and play through it now, I'm thinking I won't bother. I still have a few older games left in my "to play/finish" list, games that will actually run well, so I think I'm going to most likely go through those right now, and return to Tomb Raider Legend when I have a video card that will be more forgiving of its high graphics settings :p

Yeah, same boat here with Tomb Raider and Oblivion. I think I'll wait til my next upgrade so that when I do play through I'll get all the "wow" graphically. Just didn't want anyone to think from your post that a 6800 class GPU would have any problems at all with the game, except if next gen is enabled. And even without, it still looks quite good. I should cruise the web for some next gen screen shots just to see how insane that'll look.

Or... I could just buy the damn thing and play it now, and then play again later on :p

where can i see screenshots with the next gen content enabled? It seems the screenshots i see on 3dgamers looks just like the demo did.
