Do you like it smooth consistency throughout, the parts diced fine or chunky as hell?

Note: This thread is only in regards to tomato sauce. Do not veer off topic towards other sauces.

I like chunks of tomato better, but smooth and anywhere in between is fine too. I think stewed tomatoes are awesome.

depends what it's for.

I like it chunky for pasta, but smooth for anything else (ie: pizza, chicken parm, etc)

I'll generally chop a couple of Roma tomatoes in my sauce when I make it, but overall the sauce is smooth. I make my own.

I use store bought stuff, but same concept. Smooth Sauce with chopped up Roma Tomatoes for my pasta and smooth sauce on the pizzas with tomatoes on top.
