News Corp. Reportedly To Oust MySpace CEO DeWolfe

TechCrunch is reporting that News Corp. (NWS) is going to oust MySpace founder and CEO Chris DeWolfe along with other members of the social networking site?s executive team. The item said other potential targets could include President Tom Anderson and CTO Aber Whitcomb.

The story also says a new CEO has been recruited, and that an announcement could come as soon as this week or next week. AllThingsD is reporting the new CEO could be former Facebook exec Owen Van Natta.

NWS today is up 19 cents, or 2.2%, to $8.89.
