Sizemore, who had battled drug addiction since he was 15 was convicted in 2003 of assault and battery against his girlfriend, the former "Hollywood Madam" Heidi Fleiss. Sizemore was then sentenced to 17 months in jail and four months in drug treatment for repeatedly failing drug tests while on probation on March 25, 2005. Fleiss' restraining order against him had lapsed by the time they appeared together in the third season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew in 2010.

On May 8, 2007, while still on probation for a previous drug conviction, Sizemore was again arrested outside the Four Points Sheraton hotel in Bakersfield, California. Police found what appeared to be two bags of methamphetamine and three meth pipes in his 2004 Ford Mustang. Police were called after paroled dealer Jason Salcido challenged a hotel employee to a fight after being refused check-in. Police found a meth pipe on Salcido and found Sizemore waiting in his car outside the hotel. On June 25, Sizemore was sentenced to 16 months, but the sentence was reduced to nine months because he had already served 213 days behind bars. On January 25, 2009, Sizemore, represented by high-profile Beverly Hills attorney Mark McBride, avoided jail-time in the Bakersfield case for an alleged probation violation.

He is currently under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department for allegedly stealing multiple cell phones from a Verizon store in March 2009. On May 28, 2009, Sizemore was arrested in Los Angeles on an outstanding warrant for drug charges. Sizemore was found in the area with a friend. After cops quizzed the pair, it was discovered that there was a $25,000 warrant for the star's arrest. A police search found Sizemore's friend in possession of narcotics. Sizemore himself did not have any narcotics in his possession, but was subsequently arrested on the outstanding 2007 warrant, and was later released.

On August 5, 2009, Sizemore was arrested in downtown Los Angeles on a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence. Sizemore was released the morning of August 6, 2009 on $20,000 bail, and was scheduled to appear in court on August 27, 2009.

Sizemore had been approached to appear in the first season of the reality television series Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, but declined. He met with Dr. Drew Pinsky about appearing in the second season, sitting in Pinsky's office for two hours, as Pinsky told it, "sweating and completely high on drugs, talking a million miles an hour, acting like he was going to do it then deciding he didn’t want to." He ultimately decided to appear in Season 3, but did not arrive in the season premiere with the others, forcing Pinsky's colleague Bob Forrest to seek him out. Because Heidi Fleiss was also in treatment there that season, both of them had to consent to appear together. The season premiered in January 2010. Sizemore's arrival at the clinic is chronicled in the third episode, and his reunion with Fleiss as amicable

I've been watching Celebrity Rehab lately, and really feel bad for Tom, the addiction is destroying him. I don't really know why I watch or care since I generally don't feel any sympathy for addicts (or even casual users). Drugs are definitely bad, though.

That's what brought this up. Plus the thread about Saving Private Ryan.
Sizemore was a pretty good supporting actor. Too bad.

So people on drugs are unreliable and keep relapsing? Wow, when did we discover this? Maybe drugs should be illegal.

Yes, obviously everyone knows this so well that no one chooses to start using drugs anymore, and reinforcing the message, especially for young people, is pointless, as none of them are at risk.

Like Smallpox, we should recognize the drug issue has been wiped ot, and it's time to stop saying anything else to help people be warned abotu the dangers.

I heard Anna Nicole Smith is going down the tubes too, she better straighten up before something bad happens. More breaking news to follow...

You're repeating your useless point. Why are you reading a thread you don't like?

I just take care of myself. If someone decides to screw up their life, that's their business. It's interesting that everyone seems to think that it's funny when someone screws up their life like this.

You don't show much concern about other people, but don't need to attack those who do, and I don't find it funny, psychopaths fiund it funny, like torturing animals is funny.
