OMFG did they pull it again? I was reading it and all of the sudden, page not found! I tried going back to the pages I had already read and they are not there. This is pissing me off now.

2D is never an issue with Matrox, cause we all pretty much know that will be decent....it's the 3D and opengl support we care about most.

No one is going to pay $400 for the Parhelia for its 3D performance. I want to know how well three monitors works, if you can play videos on each (I remember a thread complaning you couldn't do that with the G400 I think), if the quality is actually noticably better than the GF4, Glyph AA, 10bit GigaColor, does it make DVD playback any better?, ect.

...dude i agree, i just think right now all the hype is on 3D performance right now, after this settles down a bit, all features you mention, will come in other reviews...just that the Parhelia was supposed to be the mother of all 3D cards, with all the hype.

Well, I'm not very impressed. Considering it's specs, you would think it would do better. I'll wait a couple months for the driver department to catch up before I pass final judgement.

I agree, Anand said to only expect about a 20% improvement in performance with driver updates.
That's just not enough in my opinion.

Once R300 and NV30 come out, everyone will forget about Parhelia. My first "3D" card was original Mystique, so I have some love for Matrox, but unfortunately, this is a very weak showing for the specs.
