Gee, wasn't Tom accused of being an Nvidia whore a couple years back when he (rightly) pointed out that 3dfx had blown it? If anyone has been strident, it's been the "AMD r0><0r3z!!! Intel Su><0r3z!!!" twits. Yeah, AMD offered more bang for the buck, but these loudmouths made it sound like they cured cancer.
I've always used Intel because it was stable, faster (I use a lot of apps optimized for SSE) and more reliable. (Early Athlon boards were flakier than a good pie crust.) NOW, I'm anxiously awaiting the new Palamino CPUs and either an nForce or dual-Athlon mobo. Intel bet the farm on RAMBUS and lost big. (That's what happens when you let greed override common sense.)
As for Tom's "Bully" column, he acts all upset when products and drivers aren't released the moment he wants them, but that's life, Buddy. Get over it!
