The mayor is so stupid it's funny. Anyone else watch this? I am watching it right now. Adult Swim for the win.
 
Not funny.

But, it is funnier than that Milk Chan crap, which makes me want to murder everyone at Adult Swim it is so terrible. They were trying way too hard for "It's so stupid it's funny", but they missed the funny part of that.

They know they have a following that'll laugh at whatever sh!t they throw on there. They can switch stuff around all they want, but they're past their prime.

ATHF is supreme, Sea Lab has grown on me a bit, but the rest of that Anime crap they show is just awful.
 
I like Tom Goes To The Mayor. I didnt think I would at first, but its really grown on me, and now I look forward to it.

Super Milk Chan is horrible, but not as horrible as the one episode of Squidbillies they showed.

ATHF is supreme, I agree there. Sealab is nothing without Captain Murphy (RIP), and I agree with you on the anime crap. Space Ghost and Home Movies were always solid, and I enjoy the occasional Baby Blues, but the rest of the stuff on there SUCKS (except Family Guy & Futurama, but that's not really theirs...).
 
Venture Bros is my favorite for sure. Sealab is starting to be past it's prime, but I have a sealab wallpaper on my computer right now. Adult Swim doesn't even like super milk chan, I don't know why they play it.
 
What happened to Captain Murphy on Sealab? I dont remember seeing anything about him leaving or dying or whatever. And characters on that show die and come back all the time.

Tom Goes to the Mayor sucks. I gave it a chance, but it's just too dumb.

Did anyone see the Tim and Eric (the creators of Tom Goes to the Mayor) interview on the Screen Savers last night? They made these guys out to be these great comedians and they were horrible during the interview (maybe it was on purpose) ... They brought in their own huge ass mics with something to hold it that hung over their shoulders ... I guess to be funny?

And then they did this "Timprovisation" where they asked a caller to give them a color, a celebrity, and a place to put your garbage ... and everything the caller named, they said wasn't good enough and they changed it to something else. I guess this was supposed to be funny? The story was so dumb ... I don't understand how this is supposed to be funny. Sorry but I guess this comedy isn't for me.
 
Yes, between this horrible show and that Super Milk Chan or whatever its called, AdultSwim is kinda dropping the ball.

I only watch Family Guy, Futurama, and then Aqua Teen or Sealab if they're on. Everything else is bleh. On Sundays I'll watch Home Movies, and the others I listed if they're on, but again, everything else is crap, IMO.

They did a commercial or something, trying to build up the creators of Tom Goes to the Mayor and right away you can tell they're not funny, and that anything they touch will turn to a steaming pile of crap.

Kudos to AS for taking a chance, but I don't see how they couldn't see that it would be a bad idea to let them make this show.
 
I'm trying to give TGTTM a shot, but I am having a hard time. I will say that by the end of the show I am laughing at something, but it in the last couple of minutes and that is all for the whole show.

On a side note.

You people need to show the Tornado some respect! :|

They need to stop both of those shows. Milk Chan is horrible horrible!!, and Tom Goes to the Mayor is just simply not funny. I don't like the way the animation is either.
 
BTW...I only like Family Guy, Futurama, Sea Lab 2021 (the older ones with Captain Murphy), ATHF, Full Metal Alchemist, BIG O (when they show it), and Trigun. 🙂

Aqua Teen Hunger Force was like the most popular series on Adult Swim until FG and Futurama started. It's the whole reason most people watched it!

I think the commercials for Sealab 2021 are funny. Eric Estrada. lol

I guess I like Tom because I like different comedy. It's something I can watch alone and laugh at. Some other things I have to watch with other people to really laugh at. I think I laugh more with Tom than Futurama.
