Tom Cruise gets sprayed

Saw it on the news this morning. The squirter was arrested and charged with assault.

Assault?
Wow, that's crazy, didn't know squirting someone with water was assault (unless it's like a firetruck hose).

i think even if u spit on someone it would be called assault although it would probably only get convicted as battery

the couch bouncing happenned on oprah, and i don't know why u guys think katie holmes is hot. howar stern was describing the oprah, and said that she had cold sores all over her mouth when tom cruise brought her on stage, bleck

edit: it was TOM that was doing the bouncing, not katie. he was bouncing cuz he was "so in love"

The "interviewers" were from a British version of "Punk'd", where they play tricks on celebrities.

did he actually explain that ? I couldn't hear what he was saying. I think Cruise would've been more forgiving if it were true. Either that or the show sucks at what they do.

Doubtful that show is going to air now...what kind of pranksters simply try to run off like that? I mean, what Kutcher does is mildly amusing because he takes it so far, and his actors/pranksters are serious about it, they don't just spray people with water and take off. That's not funny, it's just stupid.

well typically they do the stunt then get the actors written/signed consent after they laugh it off... but if you're not going to explain what you're doing afterward and try to run away... yeah, it's not going to air. ;) That's why it's hard to believe they are from a tv show.

You misunderstood...when I said not-air, it's as in it's a new show that hasn't ever aired, and they were taping for the premier of it. From what I understand it's something that is just working on a pilot still, and after this I wouldn't be surprised if it just never appeared.

"After the incident, Cruise continued to greet fans. Cruise's fiancee, actress Katie Holmes, attended the premiere but wasn't next to him during the incident."

It's a real shame she wasn't standing beside him in a thin white T-Shirt with a camera crew nearby...
