Brokaw.. an idiot?

Sigh.. I don't post on this forum much, but I do read it and clearly know you're a tool, but still. At least at one point in time there was some intelligence in TV news, and Brokaw was definitely one of those guys.

Whatever you say

Brokaw and Rather are both finally gone from their posts, and we're all better off for it.

hahahaha spoken like a true neocon who STILL doesn't know what he's talking about.
Agreed.
btw can the Pabster really believe we are better off with Hannity and O'realy?

Those 2 are entertainers / commentators not journalists. There is a big difference. Who really goes to Hannity, O'Reilly, Rush etc. for the news?

Well, at least you got one post in without WTF and LOL.

lmfao!

that said, not sure why the leftwing extremists in here think Hannity is a journalist. It must go along with the idea that since they see "FNC" in the logo, it must be a news segment. The same libs will also call O'Reilly, Rush and Mark Levin journalists. They also see Al Franken as a "journalist" and they think Keith Olbermann deserves the Cronkite Award of Excellence

this is a thinly veiled bash hannity thread that failed miserably. nice try though.

Hannity is an F-ing retard. It's amazing that once you prove that one of these neo-con shills is stupid, their fans come out of the wood work and say dumb crap like "oh, he's supposed to be a commentator, that's what he does".

So he's paid to be retarded for you? Great, he's still retarded, and so are his fans.

This wasn't a great beat-down, but it was funny.

Here is some excellent ownage. Stephen Colbert makes fun of Fox news man who made fun of Hawking:

NSFW - It has sexy advertisements on the side.

hahaha that was awesome

hahaha that was awesome

Seconded! Hilarious; Colbert can really laugh convincingly too!

Nice that the Fox guy is so dedicated to his comedy attempts that he glosses over basic facts concerning his story and Hawkings own words. Someone needs to tell him that our moon and Mars don't inhabit a different star system!

I watch the factor everyday, for Bill's commentary on social issue. Very little of what he presents is "news" per se. On a related note, I dont plan on voting for Republican candidate next year.

He actually was laughing to the point of tears at the idiocy the fox news anchor was showing... He could barely complete the joke, because it was too much for him. I don't see Colbert in that kind of situation very often, but damn it's funny!

Some of you need to learn the difference between a "news anchor" and a "talk show host."

It is difficult for the liberals, as the mainstream media has blurred the line between "journalist" and "commentator" or "talk show host", or even "news anchor".

And some of you need to learn that it doesn't fricking matter to the stupid-ass fans who take it in as fact and reason.

fair enough... but stupidity is their curse, not yours.. or mine - and that goes for folks from every point of the political spectrum.

Hannity (and all of Fox) is such as transparent shill, it's more of a caricature at this point.

Balances out nicely NBC and CNN, amongst others, who are arms of the Clinton campaign.

Yup! If the darn "mainstream media" hadn't allowed Hannity's father to marry his sister and have Sean, the right wing wouldn't have such a nutcake out there making them look bad by being such a moron while spouting the right wing dogma ad nauseum.

There, did I get all the talking points in? All in one convoluted sentence?

Last time I checked , they replayed her own words over and over and over.
Different words and positions each time , so I guess I don't know what the facts are.
That's not the fault of any one on FNC.

But it is my curse, living in a country where these people voted in a president (twice) that I would probably do well to never meet in person. Their opinions are swayed by these types of commentators. They've been molded into living breathing nationalist zombies.

It's frightening.
