I'll give you one Eli Manning, one Chad Pennington, and I'll toss in TO Lite, (Plexiglass Burress), for Mr. Brady.

burress is a bum. that guy disappears during big games. As much as people hate TO the guy steps up in big games.

Burress last week at times looked like he was half assing the routes.
You're being generous with that no good, lazy ass whiner. He strives to be a bum, that's how far down he is.

You obviously know nothing about football look at his number he average like 17 yards per catch and had well over 1000 yard season

I'm slightly biased living in MA, but you have to admit that in terms of rating, production, etc. Brady is the top of a very small class of select prime players. The closest current QB to him is Peyton Manning, IMO. They are just consistently at the top of their field. The AFC Championship game is gonna be one helluva battle. I also really appreciate how humble and controlled Brady is on and off the field. He is a true sportsman; something growing rarer in the era of Moss, TO, Marcus Vick, etc.

Please don't try and tell me that you think Brady is better than Peyton thats a ROFL

I hate to admit it I really do but yeah Tom Brady is in the top 8 all time great QB's now. If he wins the super bowl this year, he is in the top 3. Another one down the line in his career and he probably the best ever.

No doubt, but it will be interesting to see what the kid can do with Denver, in Denver.

I guarantee you that Indy is hoping Denver wins that matchup. The Patriots seem to have the Colts number when they're healthy.

I think the Pats are looking good to take it all again this year.

Edit-My prediction, Colts over Steelers and Patriots over Broncos. Patriots will beat the Colts again and then dominate the Superbowl again.

that would be a ripoff
You're right, as usual. Let's throw in ol 'nerves of steel McNabb. Nah, that would be even more of a ripoff.

Funny, because Manning Lite, Pennington, and Plexiglass would also be a ripoff in a trade for McNabb.

I think it's a whole team package thing.

Its not really right, but the QB is in a position where it tends to get all the glory when you win, and all the blame when you lose.

But yeah, Brady is just an important cog in a well put together machine when it comes right down to it.

I'd tend to agree with this. Brady might not be the player that he is on another team (see Emmitt Smith, though in his defense, he was a bit past his prime). Is Brady one of the top 2-3 QBs in the league currently? Without a doubt. Is he one of the greatest of all time? I think it's still a bit early to say that.

BTW, didn't we already have this discussion last year around this time?

EDIT: I was thinking of this thread.

He's an Eagles fan, so the answer to your question would be "no."

Reasons why the Patriots have 3 super bowl rings, in order

1. Coaching staff
2. Defense
3. Vinatieri
4. Brady

I remember when Brad Johnson led the Bucs to a superbowl with a passer rating higher than brady has ever had, yet everyone keeps saying how it was the Bucs D that got it done and not Johnson. Funny how that works. I wonder if Brad Johnson got to QB those three great New England D's how many super bowl he would have won? Would he then be the greatest QB of all time?

And for such a great clutch player with ice in his veins he sure does whine a lot.
