Tom and Jerry: Best Cartoon Ever?

i think what made tom and jerry remarkable was that it used music for its movements, etc.

Pink Panther > Looney Toons (especially Road Runner) > T&J

Road Runner had basically the same theme as Tom and Jerry, but was much more entertaining. Mail order 1 Acme slingshot, 1 Acme super magnet, 1 Acme train tracks, and 1 Acme earthquake in a jar, and you're all set. 😀

The only cartoons worth watching are Family Guy, Futurama, and the Simpsons. The Simpsons are rapidly being phased off that list though.

The very old T & J's are great. Those that have a sound effect for each movement are annoying as hell (mid-60's?). There are some from the 80's where they are friends: awful.

The new ones suck. I'm a fan of the old ones too.
