toilet thumping

ok, so i went home for spring break and while i was away the landlord went into my place to check something.

i get back to my apartment and now when i flush the toilet it thumps like a pump is turning on and shakes the floor underneath (very loud, almost scared the crap out of me).

does anybody know what i can do about this?

nobody knows a quick solution? it sounds like a damn jackhammer...

if there is nothing i can do without a plumber/landlord then i might have to pee into the shower until then (god help me)
