Update! (Thanks to ACCobra427 for the links!) :)

Western U.S. 5pm - 8pm (California Club)

Eastern U.S. 11am - 3pm (Hot Pastrami)

********************************************************************

Are you sitting down? Good, because on Wednesday, June 20th Togo's is officially losing its mind. We're giving away a free sandwich to every customer.

You heard right. It's our way of thanking loyal customers and welcoming new ones to Togo's. While we can't divulge all of our Free Sandwich secrets right now, we can tell you this:

If you're in the Eastern half of the U.S. (including Chicago) you'll enjoy our famous Hot Pastrami.

And if you're in the Western U.S, you'll get a chance to try our new California Club.

Stay tuned for more details...

They changed the bread? What's up with that? That used to be one of the best things about Togo sandwiches!

AH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's this about the bread? I haven't noticed a difference. Well the last Togo's I had was over a month ago, but maybe something has changed since then???

I hit the one in Santa Ana, CA on Sunflower & Bristol.

TOGO'S RULES!!! (if they havent changed their bread anyways) :D

Sux, I was hoping for a free lunch! I usually go to the Togo's in Cerritos by the 91, Valleyview & Orangethorp... I wish it was the Turkey, Bacon & Avocado sandwich for free.

I can just see the marketing strategy:

"Well, the East Coasters will like the deli-stlye, artery-clogging pastrami sandwich. Those health-concious West Coasters will prefer the lighter-tasting, trendy-ingredient club sandwich."

Yeah, right. I want my pastrami, man...and I want it reuben-style. DOH!

My closest Togos (is it to-go's or toe-go's) is about 100 feet from my office's front door. Combined with a Dunkin Donuts, it's assured of every day business from me as Dunkin's coffee RULES! And, Togo's clam chowder isn't bad, either. Totally run by Portugese folks from RI - difficult for order to be understood sometimes.

What a great post! Thanks for the heads up!
