Yup!

Was watching Sports Center all morning and they kept on mentioning they would cut to the sentencing phase of the trial . . . so screw the mainstream news networks, I got ESPN, yo.

Sounds like a minimum of five years until probation and a max of 180 months.

Count 1 1yr
ct2 12 mo
3 12mo
4 26 mo
5 kidnapping 15yr (parole after 5)
6 '' '' ''
7 60mo
8 60 mo
9 18 mo
10 18mo

I think the 15 with possibility of parole after 5 is the deal. The rest were concurrent - at least I THINK that's what they said.

I gathered he got 15 years, but is eligible for probation at five years - that does not mean he will get out after five years, though.

15 years is actually pretty strict. Remember he is a first time offender. You can't convict him for a different crime.

i was watching this all on ESPN news. all that concurrent, consecutive stuff got me confused, but it was essentially 15 years with parole after 5?

There are consecutive sentences. After paroled for the 15 year sentence there are two more sentences to be served. Minimum will be seven because he has to serve at least 5 on the first charge, then work off the additional sentences.
