Today's so messed up...

I was in the library doing work on one of my take-home tests
and my dad calls me and i quietly answered my cell phone, and he asks if my roommate wants to drive me down to Omaha on Thursday.
i have no classes on Thursday so i asked him why we would go to Omaha (1.5-2hr drive) and he said to pick up a car! so naturally I'm exited since I'm getting a new car(yea sure I'm spoiled w/e)
so after 10 mins or so after hanging up I'm calm enough to go back to my test and after working on it for about 15 mins my cell starts vibrating again. so i look to see who's calling and its my friend from my hometown normally I'd just ignore him and keep working since I'm in a library, but for some reason i decided to answer it.
Turns out my other friend from high schools mom had a heart attack and died the night before

I went from like super high excitement to a real low sadness inside of 30mins

bout 25 mins after i get told this I'm told my friends mom died overnight

yea the guy that called me and told me called me earlier this week to tell me his dog died..

no its a full test they just let you work on it until next class period

its made harder on purpose to compensate for time length
