Today's FoxTrot

C&H = all time best comic ever made. Even beats Peanuts. Not by much, but it does.

Watterson = genius.

I love Calvin & Hobbes. I hated to see it go, but I would rather it go out at the top of its game instead of lingering on long after it should have died.

Prime example of lingering on long after it should have died - Garfield. It was a good comic at the beginning but turned unreadable after the first few years.

I have to agree. It was right around the 10th book that it went down the tubes. I can't even read it anymore. Jim Davis needs to hang it up.

Agreed. I can't stand Peanuts and to this day I don't understand why it's so popular.

I have to agree with notfred. I never found the comic strip entertaining. The TV shows were good, but the comic was stale.

Yep, Garfield hung on to long.
Calvin & Hobbes was great ... nothing else comes close, except the also deceased Bloom County

I've never found ANYTHING peanuts to be entertaining or funny in any way. The movies always bored me to tears right along with the strip. I just don't understand it.

I think the Farside is the best all time comic, followed by Calvin and Hobbes. (Unless of course Penny Arcade counts 😀)
Nah, C&H first, then Farside.

I haven't decided the order, but they're definitely 1 & 2.

omg, that's hilarious...I love that strip, the author just seems to get it perfect for us nerds, while still remaining humorous to the average populace. great stuff. 😀

It's not supposed to be funny...

I liked the way people wrote in for the dysfunctional family circus. Taking the family circus picture and making their own caption.
