Still trying to figure out dust collection for my Jet bandsaw that doesn't have any DC ports or adapters:|

Too bad you are half way across the country PM. I can think of a few projects that would make Norm Abrams sit up and take notice. :D

That block plane looks awesome. My $9.00, rusted Stanley has been doing an OK job - but, I feel that I need something better.

Yeah, but these days good planes are expensive. Veritas makes a great one as well, and the old Stanleys are also terrific as are Records. One can sometimes find old planes on Ebay that just need a little tuning to be exceptional. Today I am afraid they are lacking.

Nice thing about the plane is that it will be just as good the day I die as the day I bought it with just a little care. Not many things made today are that way. Electronics are junk in 10 years, but a good tool is a pleasure for ages.

I was just looking @ one of my closet doors thinking how nice it'd be to build real wood doors to replace them:D
