Today show, stupid people

these stupid bitches on the today show, had margaritas and then went on to tell that ALL margaritas have 700 calories.

So of course you would have to be an idiot to believe this with out even verifying the facts. And the facts are, a shot of tequila 1.5oz has about 100 calories (pretty standard for a shot) and 4oz of tequila mix has about 100 calories.

So a margarita with 2 shots has 200 + 75 calories. How could these people be so stupid?

Now of course you can make one with 700 calories but not ALL or even most have 4 or more shots 6oz especially at bars

They black girl, said oh it must be all that syrup they put in it. The other girl agreed lol. What fucking syrup, have they ever seen a fucking margarita made???

Well technically, margarita mix does have corn syrup in it, but it is definitely not a syrup. On another note, how anyone can consume margaritas with that mix stuff is beyond me. Fresh squeezed lime/lemons all the way. Also you forgot to count the triple sec...

Why are you making your margaritas with margarita mix? 😕 That is like mixing your rum with generic Coke
1 shot Tequila + (Either 1 shot Triple Sec for extra kick or 1 large fresh orange squeezed for the simple tang) + 1 fresh lime squeezed + "rocks" = great "healthy" margarita

yeah, i usually dont put triple sec though. True about the corn syrup, in most but not if its home made or just lime juice.

yeah i get E unfortunately. God I could care less about this fucking celebs and what they think. And why people would take advice from these people. I love we they give their opinions like anyone gives a shit. I guess people do

I made some margaritas over the weekend - they actually didn't turn out to good.

I did:
1 part Tequila
.5 part Triple Sec
.5 part Lime Juice (in a bottle - not rosa's though, something less sweet)

Where did I go wrong!!!
