i think the folder icons are switched from the main forums - "no new posts" shows as blue and "new posts" shows as yellow

Along these lines, could someone explain how the forum calculates how/why a thread is marked as having new posts? More out of curiousity than anything else.

As long as we're talking about the today page, can I request that the time of the last post be restored to the list of "Last 20 posts" on the today page? It makes more sense to show both date and time in that list, instead of showing both on the "Hot topics" list.

Seeing the time of the last post is very useful when you look at the Last 20 posts list, so you know if it makes sense to revisit a thread you posted to. When I got on this morning I couldn't tell which threads I posted to yesterday had additional posts after mine.

There is not enough room to have date and time, and both are important so we chose date for now. You're request has been heard though...

Maybe a mouse-over, indicating time and author of last post. Wouldn't take up any space.

But wouldn't it be possible to have date and time for the Last 20 posts and just date for Hot Topics? Basically reversing them?

In fact I just noticed that the column for Hot Topics & Last 20 posts are the exact same width so why does date & time fit in one and not the other?

or have the date and time span 2 lines, just decrease the font size and it should work fine

That's the thing to do.

I guess the answer is no.
