keep your eyes open for a Dell deal then. I got a 17" NEC with essentially the same specs (16ms, 1280x1024) for about $100 less than this last year. The price should have dropped a bit by now, I would think.

As for the posted deal, if the monitor were 1600x1200, I would think about it. But like I said, I've already got a 17" with those specs.
