was a bit of a hassle but it worked out ok. went to compusa and it looked like they were out of stock. however, as i was walking around the store i came across a linksys endcap that had about 3 of the 4 port routers left...so i grabbed one and was out the door for $54.11. then came the fun part. went to circuit city and grabbed one off the shelf. i went to checkout and asked the cashier for a pricematch. i showed him my router from compusa and the receipt. he called his maanger on the phone and the manager said he wouldn't do it. i said what do you mean he's not going to do it...you have a low price guarantee. so i got him to get the manager to come out and he finally told the cashier to verify the price at compusa and make sure it wasn't some special price i negotiated. so i got a second router for $54.11. as i was leaving the store i asked a salesperson where they keep their rebate coupons. she said it should be on the receipt...and of course since they rang it up special it wasn't attached. so i went back to the cashier and asked if he had a part of my receipt that i needed for a mir. he said no, but he scanned in the router and printed another copy of the receipt which had the $30 mir. so all in all i paid $108.22 after tax for 2 routers which will drop to $78.22 after mir. that comes to $39.11 each. not a bad deal! i guess the only question i have now is what am i going to do with them when i already have the linksys 4 port wireless router?
