Thanks, but I'm a little concerned that the promotion is for the LR6 20 pack for $3. They are selling a 40 pack. Unless they are selling two 20 packs (LR6) then I would be afraid to jump in.
Still not a bad deal for $11 shipped if you really needed some AA's.

that is pretty strange..the rebate form clearly says a 20 pack, but the page itself describes it as a 40 pack..anyone?

I bought these several weeks ago from Netmarket using a $10 coupon. They do ship you two 20-packs, so you should get two $3 rebates. However, I didn't get the rebate form with my order, and only the original form is accepted. Well, I was screwed, but I only paid $4.95 before rebate.

Just got my batteries today. Of the $4.96 I paid ($10.96 - $6.00 rebate), $4.30 went to USPS priority mail shipping. So $0.66 for 40 batteries??? Tough business!

What should I send in as the "original" receipt?

I was wondering that too - how to mail in the "original" rebate.
Infact, I didn't get any kind of receipt or invoice from them.
Anyone send in their stuff yet?

Thanks!

I didn't get a receipt either -- so I printed out my on-line copy in hopes that they won't be a**holes over a $3 rebate. I'm sure we aren't the only ones in this boat if it turns out sour.

I ended up sending a copy of the online confirmation, a copy of the vstore product page showing the $6 rebate, and a short explanation why I don't have the "original" receipt, and why the product is listed as a single 40-pack rather than two 20-packs. Also included vstore's customer service number if they feel like calling to verify. Hopefully this will work. Too much work for $6. :)
