I can't believe you'd let the world know you're "taking a girl out" that isn't your girlfriend. If you were going with one of your guy friends, would you say "I'm taking this guy out to the movies"? No, of course not, which is why it looks so suspicious.

Girls are irrational and often they lead with emotions rather than with their brains. Just move on ... she'll come crawling back.
