i always heard it called birthday.
birth-anniversary,makes sense too,just a different way of thinking,

i heard,that some cultures,add the 9 months,to when a person is born,
so that when its 3 months after birth,that person would be "a year" old.

22 now, in Sacramento. I took advantage of the birthday freebie (w/ one paying adult) at Panda Buffet. Every now and then people would call me on my cell and wish me happy birthday. Afterwards I spent the remainder of the day with some of my old friends and a friend's lil sis at the State Fair.. took pictures, met Abe Lincoln, had a lot of fun and a great time, fireworks and everything. As for gifts, I got nothing (except for my friend's paying my admission to the Fair).

But oh well.. good times.
