Buddhism tends to not be very concerned with your present reality except to the extent that it gets you closer to nirvana or not.

I do however consider it a "moral" religion inasmuch as most things that most cultures are wont to call crimes, will seriously f*** up your karma. But I never really paid much attention to where Western "morality" (using the term loosely) ends and karma begins. Sexual attitudes can be anywhere or everywhere on a spectrum depending on culture. It's probably one of the few areas where we humans can be quite varied.
