If you are not into beer, what about a moderatly priced bottle of vodka? mix it with your favorite juice (orange, cranberry, etc)

Are you wanting wine to get drunk, or wine to drink and enjoy the taste and buzz from? There's a difference........
To get drunk, anything with a screw-top cap will accomplish the task. Boxed wine has been offered, and would do the trick as well. If you decide to switch to champagne, remember.....the smaller the bubbles, the smaller the headache!
To drink wine for it's enjoyment, it's pretty simple. Walk into the store where you're going to buy it from, and look at the selection. Notice that certain types make up 90+% of what you're looking at? These are your chardonneys, your zinfandels, blah blah blah. Those are wines for the masses, and while you might enjoy them too, take a chance on something that you don't see too much of on the shelf. My personal favorites are the reislings. They're a bit more tart, but they sure don't taste like anything you'd ever get out of a box.....and that's because no one boxes the good stuff! 😀
I personally don't enjoy a red wine, but you might. Also check out the blush wines, as they offer something different as well. My personal favorite (a white wine) is a Johannesburg (sp?) reisling. It's a bit tougher to find, but well worth the effort!
Oh yeah, and the only thing I've ever done with vodka is make screwdrivers and kamakazis......but save that for when you just wanna get rip snortin' don't care how crummy you'll feel the next day drunk. 😉
