Buddy and I were debating how many people have ever used tobacco. I'm sure that we could have gone and looked up scientific numbers, but AT > Real Numbers.

Was a very light smoker in high school 18 years ago... 10 a day max, usually less.
Havent touched it since.

Basically option 2. Option 3 applies if "occasionally" can mean once every 2-8 years? I used to smoke cigars semi-regularly, way back in highschool, and only for about 2 years, because it seemed "cool."

Now I will smoke a cigar very, very, very, very rarely. And only because I get one as a gift, or someone wants to share...very rare.

I guess "occasionally" could mean anything from "once every 2-8 years" to "smoke a cig when I smoke," and everything in between?

My grandfather died a very painful, slow death from smoking when he was 62'. For 5 years before that, he couldn't breathe and his quality of life was miserable.

I swore I would never smoke anything after seeing that...I was 12 at the time. I'm 45 now and kept my promise.

Dip regularly. Smoke occasionally, usually when drinking. I'm actually going to attempt to quit everything here when this can runs out. I bought these caffeine pouches to help ease the sensation of having something in my mouth. We'll see how it goes. Just waiting for the pouches to arrive.

Smoked from age 13 to 28, quit in 1984 and have not smoked anything other a cigar now and then since that time.

Oh, and dip is such a strong form of nic. Makes it that much harder.

G/L, I managed to quit it. You got this shit.

Thanks. Should be here tomorrow so I'm getting mentally prepared lol. I've been cutting back on the frequency of dipping for the last week, subbing sunflower seeds here and there so I'm somewhat prepared.

The only good thing that came from nicotine addiction was that it made me understand what addiction was. I knew better than to ever try other addictive drugs. I finally managed to give up nicotine almost 10 years ago.

Pretty much only when I drink. I never have any sort of craving or need when I'm sober. Usually about 2-3 in a night out drinking.

I do love cigars though.

Snus, nasal snuff, and the occasional cigarette. Very infrequently use dip, leaf chew, pipe, and cigars.

A nice cigar once or twice per year.

Same here but I don't really consider that as tobacco usage. I don't inhale and the fact that I smoke 1-2 cigars per year really is probably negligible in effect on my health.

I did smoke when I was in my teens but quit in my early 20s.

I voted "Former full-time user, no current usage" but I still vape like a madman daily...with a relatively high nicotine strength liquid. (but I haven't had an actual cigarette in over 3 years)

I don't smoke.

I tried cigar when someone offered it to me. Holy cow, the buzz and got my heart racing thump thump thump. Then I got an intense nausea.

No thanks, I'll stick with scotch.

nice cigars on occasion and that's it. A couple years ago around the holidays I kinda went overboard and on the 2nd I felt the desire to smoke a cigar big time. Mouth was itchy and I was anxious. I didn't smoke then and kept my usage down to a couple times a year.
