TOA of KT133A?

Has any hardware site received a VIA-confirmed date on when the KT133A chipset will be for sale? I've seen rumors but nothing official..

Nope. I have been hearing the same old song and dance. First I heard X-Mas, then New Years. Now the 'word' is the third week of January.

It seems ridiculous to me that at least one ambitious motherboard manufacturer couldn't get something out.

Guess that's setting the bar too high. HOpe the chipset is better than the word of the reps about when we'd be seeing this thing.

I want to see something out, not just vaporware, soon. This chipset is the reason I haven't upgraded right this second.

My second hope is that the ASUS board (which I'm looking at) isn't ridiculously priced. I could understand 10-20 above the normal A7V, but anymore than that is ridiculous for the changes made. Any insight on this?

I want the K7T-Turbo-R, it's listed on their website now...but still not dice on getting one....
