To those without children yet: How many children do you want in life?

For some reason, I was thinking about this today. Not that I'm anywhere near having children in my life, but one of these days, it will happen. Ideally, for me, I look at having 2 children at being optimal. The first you can spoil, and the second can save money and use all the stuff you have for the first one. Each children will always have a sibling and a friend, and with only 2 children, you wouldn't be as tied down with money for the next 18 years. Also, it seems as if many things you can do as a family is typically geared towards 4 people.

What do you guys think? Just my random post for the day.

I don't particularly want any. Especially little ones. They're more fun once they get to be 4 or 5, but WTF do you do with an infant except listen to it cry?

Au contraire. My little neice is 3 months and she only fusses when she wants teh boob. She even sleeps through the night, which is apparently unheard of.
