Any one know what the yellow and white lead marked simply "LED" is for (the one that connects to the middle light on the front of the case)? I see no mention of it in the manual.

I have no idea, I never did connect mine to anything... Maybe it is a warning light of some sort?

No clue either, but my board has a hookup for it labeled LED...so I plugged it in and it just stays on like the power LED :/

Ditto. Talking about the amber LED in the middle, right? I suppose it is just a spare in case you need it for something, such as if you are using a PCI SCSI/SATA/EIDE card and want to see an activity light for connected devices.

Dude, thats the TURBO LED. HAHAHAH!! Actually it is the turbo led. Something you will not find on a computer newer than the 133mhz pentium

Hmm... at least mine was labled "turbo". Maybe you guys have a newer version of the same case?

What, Turbo!?!? I haven't seen one of those in a looooong time. Kinda makes me wonder what Antec was thinking when they put it on there...

lol, there isn't even a turbo button on the case. One of my old computers had one (It didn't help) but that was over 10 years ago. I remember because I bought Test Drive III when I had a 4MHz 8088 and it literally displayed about 0.5 fps (I knew nothing of clock speeds back then. It was a PC computer game and I had a PC so it should work, right?). Eventually we got a 33 MHz 486 DX2 so I tried the game again. I thought the pitch of the engine sounded a little high at idle and when I just touched the joystick, my car warped forward and slammed into something before I could even react. Turn turbo off and it was just right though. Ah, memories. 😀

Anyway, sounds like I'll be leaving that extra lead unused for now. Wish I could rig it for that to be a data light for the onboard NIC.

My Antec SX600II has 2 LED's aside from the standard HDD LED, and they are for IDE controller cards or something of the like. I use 2 HDD LED's on my SX600 when I had it. sweet idea.

I just got this and an ASUS Nforce 4 SLI Deluxe. I dont know where to put the mic and ear cables to the mobo, and the front power switch doesnt light up. Also, the front panel audio (mic and headphone jack) doesnt work. There are discrepancies between the mobo and manual. Where do I plug in these 1 and 2 pin case connectors? Thanks.

I am not sure about the mic and front audio as I never use those on my cases. As far as I know, that front power switch is not supposed to light up, so no loss there. If you ever have a LED not light up then simply switch the connector, I always get one wrong when building a computer.

There should be a seperate front panel cluster of pins somewhere on the mobo that you hook your connectors for front audio in, this is usually on the lower part of the board near the LED/Power Butten/Reset Button etc... cluster. At least, thats where it has been on every board I have owned. Sometimes the case splits up the connectors into 1 and 2 pin groups, if that is the case then you have to follow the board manual and the little labels on each of the connectors.
