To those who shave their domes....

I see there's been some shaving polls in the past but I was wondering specifically about those who shave their heads.

I've been running it real close with a trimmer the last few years but that wasn't close enough so 3 months ago I decided to start shaving. I've tried 4 blade but they just seem to really drag/get caught where there's still plenty of hair. Double blades are the quickest but have a serious 5 o'clock shadow. Triples seem to be the best but I hate paying the prices to replace them.

All you need is This
I have used one for about 6 months now, and I absolutely love it. After the first few times you do it every other day, and bingo its easy as cake.

I went to my local beauty shop, and bought a shaver called the "balder" made by Wall. It gets it really short, about the length of a day's growth. I can shave my entire head in a few minutes after getting used to it. Much quicker than using shaving cream and razors.

Thanks 6String, looks good. Can't say I'd jump for the Signature Series right away but I'll definitely give the regular a try.

I've been shaving my head for almost three years. Use my regular Mach 3. I actually finf shaving my head easier and more comfortable than shaving my face.

They carry these at the EVIL walmart.

Damn, these look like awesome one for regular face shaving.. (Imagine that, someone shaving their face.. Little slices 😛.)

I used the Headblade for a while, but when the blade is new and you may have some irregular contours on your head, look out. Slice central all over the little bumps that make up your skull. It gets especially dicey around the backside of your head, where your skull slopes in toward your neck. I stopped using it and started back on the Mach 3 with some shaving oil and shaving cream on top of it. Works much better for me and the blade seems to last longer using the oil and shaving cream together.

I am not brave enough to try a straight edge razor. I imagine that it would give you the best shave albeit with a slightly risky touch. Imagine slipping and losing an ear tip or something!.

Peace
