I plan to watch the whole piece but after 30 sec the mother is complaining her son can't read at 18. WTF. If the parents don't take an active role in their kids education then they have mostly themselves to blame.

Wow that's long. Looks like it's on kids who suck despite going to school, I know this area has a lot of those issues but a great deal (most?) of the problem is in fact not the schools but their crack head mothers and fathers. I kid, they don't even know where their dads are. I would wager that if you find a school area with consistently poor ratings the kids are consistently from poor/poorly adjusted families and education simply isn't that important to them.

Watch the whole thing. He goes into funding and gets them to admit 100% of a state budget isnt enough. He also looks into school voucher programs, charter schools, and the teach unions who hold back progress.

Hahaha. Alot of these people don't have personal responsibility. If your kid gets a bad grade, its your responsibility to beat a good grade into him.
