to those stuck on dial-up; who's your isp?

Time for me to switch isp's so I figured I'd ask the atot faithful for recomendations :beer: I've been contemplating netzero hispeed but I'm not quite sure. Anyone use this or have any other suggestions? Reliability is the key concern. All suggestions appreciated ;)

You're in Oregon? Try seeing if you have a local Pacific Internet. Very reliable. Works 99.9% of the time for me.

I wouldn't pay anything extra for any of those dial up service "extra speed" packages. All they do is cache copies of web pages locally so they load faster. Just seems to the layperson that it's faster. The download speeds will still be slow ol' dial-up. :)

Yah, I know it's all cacheing and different compression methods but it's still quicker for browising. I'm aware that I'll still have my awesome 3.XX Kbps transfer rate :(

You could try them

They've been advertising like crazy here in Atlanta and they're cheaper than NetZero even for their high speed service. They have some Oregon numbers too, check the access numbers to see if one's local for you.
