In its final form, Revolution will be about the thickness of three standard DVD cases and only slightly longer. The versatile Revolution will play either horizontally or vertically, allowing the user total flexibility in setting up a gaming session wherever they have a television.

That's right, the video is fake. So you can all just get your titties out of a wad and chill.

Isn't it possible that Nintendo saw their video leaked and released a vague article to throw people off?

By size description it sounds like it will be the same size as the slim PS2.

The other video either was not done by Nintendo, or it could be a video of something else Nintendo has planned. I wouldn't be surprised if they have a console as well as the headgear unit that may interact with the new console.

That's what I'm thinking. I find it hard to believe that somebody would take that much time and effort to create such a kickass video as an internet prank. Or perhaps it was just a concept video created by Nintendo visionaries that was axe'd by executives.

Now that I think about it remember that screen where they show the Gamecube then a box with a ? on it? I think that other system might be the main console and your theory is right.

Thanks to Nintendo's hardware development partners IBM and ATI, the small system will be packed with power that will enable it to wow players with its graphics. Nintendo's legions of loyal fans will be happy to learn that Revolution will be backward compatible, playing both Nintendo GameCube 8cm disks along with its own 12cm optical disks in the same self-loading media drive.

Winner!

EXACTLY what I was thinking.

The circle jerk session would have hidden his post, in all its gooey whiteness.

Agreed. Backwards compatibility a huge plus.

Self-loading mean the same as slot load?

Picture of what I'm talking about. So the top part is the backwards compatibilty with gamecube, but what's the unknown console (it looks small too like 3 dvd cases big maybe)? Perhaps this video is just part of the revolution and not the main game console.
