I don't think a man sitting to pee is unmasculine. However, I think men who obsess over other men's peeing methods are a little suspect :Q

I sit. When I stand, urine inevitably will get somewhere other than the bowl, either on the lip or a little on the floor due to splash back. Sitting is just a much easier way of doing things and never have to worr yabout forgeting to put down the toilet seat to do a #2. I changed when my mom got on my case about it long ass time ago. This is only in the home though, i always use the urinals out in public.

you haven't noticed that it lessens splashing if you sit and pee ? It's quite disturbing how much splashes out of the toilet (at home) when you pee standing. You can tell especially if there's natural light. I don't sit, but I'm not against it.

EDIT>>> LOL glad I'm not the only one who noticed.

^bump

need a bigger sample.

And Landroval. As an amateur statistician I'm just trying to figure out possible reasons to the numbers other than "cleanliness".

How sad :(

Does fall in line with the pussification of America? :p

I stand to pee but do put the seat down to keep the screeching to a minimum.

I sit to pee after having sex. I always seem to get dual streams after letting one fly, but most of you wouldn't know about that.

I usually just step into the tub and pee there. And depending on who takes a shower next, I totally saved 10 seconds by not flushing

For those concerned with the splashing, try standing more over the toilet and piss straight down...much less uncontrolled splashing.

If you have ever lived with other ppl especially women in a house you sit when you pee.
Nobody like to clean the inevitable splats that the standing pisser makes.

when I lived alone I often stood up to pee.

When visiting friends, family whatever, i always sit - it is a matter of respect.

I stand.

never noticed a problem with splashing, but I actually keep my bathroom fairly clean, so it's not like there'd be 3-month old dried urine on the walls or something :gross;
