I'm curious as to what your ages and marital status for those guys out there that sit when they pee.

no mocking intended whatsoever. Just curious.

Inspired by this thread

Those that don't sit to pee, just vote n/a to see the results.

Well judging from the other thread they are a minority. But I'd like to gain a little more insight about this group. I've got a few theories going on in my head.

If you have to sit down to urinate, you are NOT a man.

Edit: Unless your age > 70.

i only sit when i pee when it is required (wiping pee off walls, floor, tank sucks)

I sit when I pee and I'm not afraid to admit it. Who wants the inevitable thousands of tiny piss spats all over the floor regardless of how perfect the aim is?

I clean my own bathroom and it's 1000x cleaner since I've switched from standing to sitting.

i dont know why, but the image of a grown man sitting to pee is cracking me up :D

edit: btw i rarely go pee in a toilet (unless im crudding w/ it). if im inside, ill just step outside and let it go. I feel like im wasting my pee if i go in a toilet

my mom enforced a sitting down and peeing rule after me, my dad, and my brother all got a little outta hand with our aim.

While its a lot cleaner...its just not as much fun :D

My son decided to start doing it on his own in the mornings after he woke up. He said it was because his aim was off when he was sleepy and he didn't want to mark the wall. He stands the rest of the day. If he didn't I'd take his (elementary) man card.

the only negative of sitting down, but this also applies for #2, is that often, depending upon the water level of the toilet, my unit ends up dangling into the water (which is gross to say the least).

You look like a total tool in that thread, just so you know.

Anyway, looking at that other thread is insane. I never think to sit down when I pee. I never thought so many people did either. Weird.

Yea that is a legitimate issue, but that's something I've learned to prevent over the years.

I bet the main correlation will be to cleanliness. I bet there will be more sitters in the 'clean' group and more standers in the 'not so clean' group.

I dunno about that. My bathroom is pretty clean because I like it clean.

How about if you sit to take a crap, and happen to pee as well while sitting, therefore, sitting some of the time when peeing?

Wow. I can imagine a woman making the offending member of the family clean the bathroom, but I can't imagine what kind of whipped individual would allow his wife to tell him how to urinate. That's just scary.
