I assume everyone here is a guy, regardless of username or avatar, unless they explicitly state they are a female. And even then I don't always believe them.

You might as well get used to it. I've been posting here for over 7 years now with my name in my sig and it still happens regularly. Well, except for the old-timers I've talked to over the years, and sygyzy who refers to me as the resident teenage feminist.

I only bother to correct them when it seems relevant to the conversation, otherwise it doesn't really matter, it's to be expected on a forum with so many more guys than girls.
