To RAID or not to RAID?

Im considering RAID (specifically RAID 0) right now because its time to get more HD space. Right now I have a 40GB Seagate Barracuda III. Computer is a 1.33Ghz Tbird and A7M266 mobo with 512MB PC2100 Micron. I mostly use my computer for games (CS) and internet. I download a lot of full length movies to watch and keep my favorites stored so I do have a lot of big files but keep in mind they are just movie files and dont need to be loaded super fast, although that would be nice. Should I get another Seagate Barracuda III and RAID 0 or should I just look into getting a new HD and running my old one as a slave? If I do get another HD and just slave the old one, should I use the slave for my MP3s, movies, games, or combination of any of these? Thanks ahead of time.

I don't see any good reason for you to use RAID. Just get another drive and use your old was as storage.
