Because she’s a woman and women like Weddings and Princesses

I'm sure my ex-not-quite-sister-in-law would disagree strongly with this statement.

Like any true Scot, she's anti-monarchy.

My wife is definitely pro weddings and pro princesses and her reaction to "would you watch this wedding if you had the opportunity" was "meh".

All I know is that I can't wait for this to be out of the news. I dislike almost all politicians (I say almost as I haven't run across one yet that I like), and I especially dislike "Royalty". If I were a Brit, I'd be pretty pissed in knowing that the cost of security, including snipers on rooftops and a counter-UAV system, will top 30 million pounds (around $40 million U.S.), and is expected to be borne largely by taxpayers.

I don't mean to rain on your parade, so have your Earl Grey with Fish and Chips.

Damned if I know. I can understand why they care about it in the UK but I'll be damned if I have ever understood the fascination with any of these inbreds in the US.

It is because this one represents the first true out-breeding experiment in the Windsor or Montbatten line in generations. (recall that Diana was essentially a third cousin or something like that)

probably the same reason I watch "Say Yes to the dress"

I hate weddings but i like the process to the actual dress.

Pretty much same here. Wife thinks it’s funny that I can choose women’s clothes as good as a gay man.

Update, I ordered some scones from a local European bakery and I just picked up some disgustingly named “clotted cream” plus some English jam (I think it’s Wilkin and Son) made in Tiptree(?), Essex, England.

Just learned she is bi-racial, so yes those genes will be refreshed.
