Beard trimmer set on the lowest setting. Keeps things nice and clean without having to use a razor (time consuming and itchy), wax (ouch) or an electric shaver (itchy and, for me at least, irritates the hell out of my skin).

I know some people also shave their butt if it's extra hairy, this sounds difficult :p

I've been shaving it for about 6 years now. I started off just using scissors actually to trim it. Then went at it with a razor. Any girl I've been with totally loves it. It also gives them incentive to shave theirs. ;)

Ok, I read that link and about laughed out of my chair.
From the article:

Some Helpful Pointers ? Don't use an electric shaver. It'll mulch your scrotum.

? Never remove pubic hair with wax. Waxing your so-called bikini line is perfectly acceptable. But genital waxing can cause infection, and I'm told it hurts like the bejeezus.

? Never remove pubic hair with chemical agents or wipe-away sprays. (Does "baked beans" mean anything to you?)

? Always shave when you're sober and in a fully alert and attentive state of mind.

wow, what timing. i shaved my boys today after taking a shower. been doing it for two years now. love the smooth feeling and not having all that hair between my legs is great. i have never cut myself, and hopefully i never will, but if so, it probably won't be any worse than a nick from shaving my face. we're not talking about deep gashes and hitting vital organs. a nick from a razor is superficial.

When I used to shave it ALL, I just used a trimmer of some sort to trim it as short as possible, and then finish up with some gel and a mach 3. Worked just fine, very little irritation, if any. Now iI just keep it extremely short with a trimmer.

Holy sh*t you can't do that with a blade. Women can but men have too many angles and wrinkley skin. stick to an electric trimmer.

Ok... so we've got someone named "BigDan" claiming they're a girl... combine that with "mulching your scrotum" and you've got one helluva way to start off a new work week.
I'm certainly awake now. ;)

Yep - because as we all know, good hygiene and grooming are the exclusive domain of women and effeminate men: likewise for proper grammer, house cleaning, dressing well and eating healthy.

Okay. So when the blades on the electric trimmer get dull, do you have a place to take them to get sharpened? Are there places where you cna get new blades?

All you guys who claim that shaving/trimming is only for wussies and pansies are just insecure. There's nothing wrong at all with shaving/trimming one's privates. It's a matter of personal preference. I've never had a problem with women and I've been shaving/trimming since I was 15 or so.

I've been shaving it for awhile. I've tried several methods.

Best shaving is a Mach3 + Paul Mitchell Super-charged conditioner (unfortunately being discontinued)

Next is waxing the surrounding areas and then shaving the sack area with a Mach3 and shaving cream for sensitive skin.

The important thing is to shave at least every other day. Also, I wouldn't recommend going against the grain right off the bat. You'll leave a little stubble, but it's not worth the pain of ingrown hairs.

Witch Hazel is a good after shave to help prevent irritation.

OMG, there's a demon named "Mutilator" claiming he has a job. What a way to start the week. Anyhow, my husband never has mulched his scrotum.

Fine, you want a long story or a short one?

It's not any more confusing than a guy calling himself Spooner with a cow avatar.

Did it once. SHortened 1st with scissors then finished with a razor. My gf was indifferent, so I didn't bother doing it again.

If you want a girl's opinion, definitely shave "down there"! At least the dinglie danglies!

My husband shaves everything and trust me when I say...it's for his "benefit" that he does that! Makes for a much more...let's say "pleasent" experience, for all concerned!;):)
